Velocity or Speed (रफ़्तार)

Speed : The speed of a body is the rate at which it is  moving, i.e. distance travelled per unit time and the unit of  speed is m/s or km/h (किसी पिंड की गति वह दर है जिस पर वह गति कर रहा है, यानी प्रति इकाई समय में तय की गई दूरी और गति की इकाई m/s या km/h है)

Distance (दूरी)

Distance  : The length of a path between two places is called  the distance between these two places and the unit of  distance is m or km  (दो स्थानों के बीच पथ की लंबाई को उन दो स्थानों के बीच की दूरी कहा जाता है और दूरी की इकाई m या km है)

∴ Distance = Speed × Time  

Time (समय)

Time : The duration in hours, minutes or seconds spent to  cover a certain distance is called the time (किसी निश्चित दूरी को तय करने में घंटों, मिनटों या सेकंडों में बिताए गए समय को समय कहा जाता है)  

Some important Note

• To convert the speed of an object from km/h to m/s,  multiply the speed by 5/18.
• To convert the speed of an object from m/s to km/h,  multiply the speed by 18/5.
