    Dibrugarh University has released the official notification for the Dibrugarh University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed CET) 2025 for admission into the 2-Year B.Ed. Courses for the academic session 2025-2027. The B.Ed CET 2025 will be held on 12th July 2025. All interested and eligible candidates wishing to pursue B.Ed. courses offered by Dibrugarh University and its affiliated colleges must appear and qualify in this entrance exam.

   To be eligible for admission into the B.Ed. programme, candidates must meet the following qualifications:  

• Educational Qualification : Candidates should have at least 50% marks (in aggregate) either in their Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, or any equivalent degree recognized by Dibrugarh University. Alternatively, candidates holding a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics must have at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.  
• Candidates with 50% marks or more in the Honours/Major subject but less than 50% in the aggregate marks in the Bachelor’s degree will not be eligible for admission.

Relaxation in qualifying marks 

• 5% relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD categories or those having at least 5 years of teaching experience in a school recognized up to the 10th standard by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.

Dibrugarh University B.Ed CET Application Fee  

• Application Fee : Rs. 1000/-  
• The fee is payable online via Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking.

Follow these steps to apply

• Visit the official application portal and click on the Online Application Form link.  
• Register by entering your name, mobile number, and password. The mobile number will be verified via OTP.  
• After registration, log in using your mobile number and password.  
• Fill in your personal and educational details.  
• Pay the application fee and submit the form.  
• Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

Documents Required for Application  

• A coloured passport-size photograph.  
• A signature of the candidate.

Selection Process for Dibrugarh University B.Ed Admission  

• Common Entrance Test (CET) : The CET will carry a maximum of 70 marks.  
• Career Performance : The candidate's previous academic performance (HSLC, HS, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s Degree) will carry a maximum of 30 marks. The percentage secured in each examination will be converted to marks for this purpose (10% of the marks secured).
