• Pay Level - 5 (Rs. 29,200 - 92,300)

3. Data Entry Operator, Grade 'A'

Age Limit (As on 01-08-2024)

• As per the provisions outlined in the DoP&T OM No. 14017/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988, the crucial date for age calculation is set as 01-08-2024. Candidates applying for the posts must fall within the age limit of 18 to 27 years, meaning they should have been born between 02-08-1997 and 01-08-2006. The permissible relaxation in the upper age limit for various categories, as per the existing rules and guidelines of the Government of India, is outlined as follows:

Educational Qualification

1. For the position of Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and the Ministry of Culture, applicants should have passed the 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or its equivalent.

2. As for the positions of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ (excluding DEOs in the mentioned Departments/ Ministries), candidates must have completed the 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
