Raimna National Park is famous for its golden monkeys. The Raimana National Park is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, 170 species of birds, 150 species of butterflies, hornbills, various species of orchids and 380 species of plants. Raimana National Park covers an area of 422 sq km.

Raimona National Park, located in the Kokrajhar district of Assam, India, was declared a national park on June 5, 2021, by Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during a World Environment Day celebration at Gandhi Mandap, Guwahati. Spanning the Gossaigaon and Kokrajhar subdivisions of Kokrajhar district within the Bodoland Territorial Region, the park covers an area of 422 square kilometers (163 square miles). It forms part of the larger Ripu Reserve Forest, which has a total area of 508.62 square kilometers (196.38 square miles). Raimona National Park serves as the westernmost buffer to the Manas Tiger Reserve in the foothills of the Eastern Himalaya Biodiversity Hotspot. The park is a haven for a diverse array of wildlife, including tigers, clouded leopards, golden langurs, Indian gaurs, Asian elephants, spotted deer, wild buffaloes, and hornbills.
