Question pattern, marking system & filling of OMR sheet
This passage outlines the examination guidelines for candidates who will be using an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet to record their answers. Here's a summary
Question Booklet Sets : The exam will consist of four different sets of question booklets labeled A, B, C, and D. Candidates must answer questions from only one of these sets.
OMR Answer Sheet : Candidates will mark their answers on an OMR sheet, which will be evaluated using software. There will be no manual checking of the OMR sheets.
Marking Scheme :
- Correct Answer: Each correct response earns 1 mark.
- Incorrect Answer: Each incorrect response results in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
Multiple Responses : If a candidate selects more than one answer for a question, it will be treated as incorrect, and the corresponding marks will be deducted.
Instructions : Candidates must carefully follow the instructions provided in the Question Booklet, OMR sheet, and Admit Card. Particular attention should be given to correctly filling in details like Roll Number and Question Booklet Set (A/B/C/D).
Pen Usage : Only a black or blue ballpoint pen should be used for marking answers on the OMR sheet.
