      The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Guwahati, has announced an employment notification for 5647 Act Apprentice vacancies. These positions are for training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, across various trades and workshops under NFR's jurisdiction. Eligibility Criteria of NF Railway Recruitment 2024

Age Limit

• Minimum age : 15 years
• Maximum age : 24 years (as of 03 December 2024)

Age Relaxation :  

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must meet the qualifications mentioned in the official notification.  

Application Fee

• UR/OBC/MOBC/Other Categories : ₹100/-
• SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidates : Nil

Reservation for Ex-Servicemen (ExSM) Candidates

• Reservation Scope : Ex-Servicemen and their dependents are eligible for reservation under their respective community categories (UR/SC/ST/OBC).  
• Priority Order for ExSM Engagement : Apprenticeship seats for ExSM and their dependents will be allocated in the following priority
  • (a) Children of deceased/disabled ex-Servicemen, including those killed or disabled during peace time.
  • (b) Children of ex-Servicemen.
  • (c) Children of serving Jawans.
  • (d) Children of serving officers.
  • (e) Ex-Servicemen themselves.
