  The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to conduct the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the SSC GD Constable Examination 2024, aimed at filling 39,481 constable vacancies across various armed forces in India. This examination marks the first stage of the recruitment process and is scheduled to take place from 4th February to 25th February 2025.  

    As per the revised schedule issued by SSC on 1st January 2025, candidates can download their admit cards four days prior to their respective exam dates. Applicants are advised to regularly check the SSC official website (https://ssc.gov.in/) for updates and instructions regarding the examination and admit card download.

• Nationality
  • The candidate must be a citizen of India. 
  • Since vacancies in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles (AR) are state/UT/area-specific, candidates must submit a domicile certificate or Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) for their domiciled state/UT.
• Age Limit
  • Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years old as on 1st January 2025. 
  • Candidates should have been born between 02-01-2002 and 01-01-2007. 
• Age Relaxation : Permissible relaxations in the upper age limit for different categories are as follows:  
  • SC/ST : 5 years relaxation
  • OBC : 3 years relaxation
  • Ex-Servicemen (ESM) : 3 years relaxation
• Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (10th grade) or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.

Candidates appearing for the Constable (GD) Examination 2025 can now download their admit cards by following the steps below.

• Scroll down to the Important Web-Link's section on the official SSC regional website.
• Click on the "SSC Admit Card" link. 
• Enter your login credentials, such as: 
  • Registration ID 
  • Date of Birth 
• Click on the "Submit" button. 
• Your SSC Admit Card will appear on the screen.
• Download the admit card and save it.
• Take a printout of the admit card for future reference.

Important Notes

• Carry the hard copy of the admit card to the examination center.
• Verify the details mentioned on the admit card (name, exam center, date, and time).
• Follow the instructions provided in the admit card carefully.
