    To support, strengthen, and improve the quality of Elementary Education in Assam, and following government approval (eFile No. 517326, dated 02/08/2024), the Assam Elementary Education (Provincialisation) (4th Amendment) Rules, 2024, are now in effect. Accordingly, online applications are invited from willing and eligible candidates who are currently working as Contractual and State Pool Contractual teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA). Applications can be submitted through the official DEE, Assam website at https://dee.assam.gov.in. 

    We are looking to fill 35,133 positions, including Assistant Teacher of Lower Primary, Assistant Teacher of Upper Primary, and Science Graduate Teacher in Upper Primary. These positions offer an initial pay scale of Pay Band – 2 (PB-2), ranging from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 70,000, plus Grade Pay and other allowances as per "The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019."

Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Recruitment

• Candidates must be working as Contractual and State Pool Contractual teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) as of 31st July 2024.
• Candidates must have completed 5 years of continuous service by 31st July 2024 as Contractual and State Pool Contractual teachers under SSA.
• Candidates must apply for the same category of post they held as a Contractual or State Pool Contractual Teacher and only for one post.

• Employment Status : Candidates must be working as Contractual or State Pool Contractual teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) as of 31st July 2024.
• Service Duration : Candidates must have completed 5 years of continuous service as Contractual or State Pool Contractual teachers under SSA by 31st July 2024.  
• Application Process : Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the official DEE, Assam website (https://dee.assam.gov.in) between 10:00 AM on 6th August 2024 and midnight on 12th August 2024.
• No Offline Applications : Offline applications will not be accepted.
